Excalibur Moving and Storage

I’ve used Excalibur for three moves- each move has been flawless and the crew worked in tandem to ensure smooth delivery.

Victor and his crew arrived on time, helped me with a few items that were unpacked and assured me all would be well. When we arrived at the new location there were a few obstacles to overcome. My unit was on the opposite side of the service elevator and required a long walk to my unit. I was shaken by the prospect but, the crew assured me they would get it done expeditiously and they did. I can’t imagine a move without Excalibur and they will be the company I rely on for my next move to the shore- thank you, thank you , thank you.

I would be remiss in not mentioning the office crew that set up the move and quote. Autumn was awesome and reached out every step of the way. I can’t remember the gentlemen that initially created the quote but, he was on point as well.

I will recommend Excalibur to friends that have a move in their immediate future.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1068

They stole a $160 bottle of unopened Chanel cologne from me. They removed the bottle from the unopened package, then put the empty package back into the storage container. The one mover made several comments about my colognes, and even mentioned how good one of them smelled. Then, when I found the empty box a few days later while unpacking, I was told the movers do not go through our stuff. Clearly he did since he mentioned how nice one of them smelled. For compensation I was offered $20 from Eli, or was told I could call the police. Worst customer service experience I may have ever had. I even tipped the movers over $150. I had a friend who was about to use them, but because of my bad experience is using another company. Glad I caught it in time before they had their items stolen as well.

It was my first time booking the services of a moving company to relocate within the state, and I couldn't ask for a better experience! The company sent me an affordable quote by email and also contacted me to explain the overall process. The movers made the process so easy and were extremely professional and efficient. They were very careful with the furniture and made sure everything was wrapped and protected from any damage. When they arrived to the new apartment, they made sure all boxes and furniture were placed in the assigned areas. I strongly recommend their services!

I had a good experience with Excalibur Movers. From the first Phone call I felt very comfortable with their honesty and taking the time to explain the whole process and cost. They offered to send one of their estimators to my house, he was very explanatory and gave us great packing tips. The crew was great; they came on time, wrapped everything, took very good care of my stuff, protected my floors with spacial carpets. The final cost was exactly like the quote I was given by the estimator. I think this is how moving Company should work, they were absolutely professional from the start to finish.

This was my first time using a moving company and I was extremely skeptical about doing it, but I’m so glad I did. They came and gave me an estimate at a time of my choosing and showed up on time. Super friendly and polite. Pricing was on point. There were no hidden fees, which I hear happens a lot. I got some useful advice and tips to make my move stress free. On the day of the move, I was shocked at how efficient and professional the movers were. I assumed it would take longer than it did, but was pleasantly surprised at how fast it all went. In the past, I’ve always moved myself and dreaded moving. They carefully packed and protected my furniture better than I have in the past. I really appreciate that they even covered the floors! Had I known this is how moving could go, I would have tried this along time ago. Going forward, I will only use and recommend Excalibur. They gave me exceptional service! These guys are the best. The first thing I look for in any business, is integrity. This company has that from beginning to end. They treat you very well and are very clear with pricing, the moving process, and they finish the job with excellence. Moving doesn't have to be a stressful process, as long as you have people that can understand your situation and care genuinely about your possessions. Give your back a break and let Excalibur do the leg work for you. You will not be disappointed!

So I’ve used Excalibur moving company three times now. The first two experiences were amazing and I just raved about them constantly. I recently just moved and this experience with them was so subpar I was wondering if it was the same company. They were not as fast about the move as they have in the past (I moved during warmer months in the past) and almost seemed to be milking the clock. I understand this is hard work and you want to make the most of your work day, but there was more laughing and talking then work being done. Also, the drive between the two places was 45 minutes, and it took them a hour and 30 minutes to get to the new place because they stopped and got lunch. That’s fine but then we were charged for that time. We basically ended up buying them a $130 lunch. They were also a lot rougher with our stuff and broke some of our stuff during the move. Unfortunately, things were so chaotic, moving is so stressful, and at this point I just wanted them out of my house, I didn’t investigate everything before they left. This experience has definitely made me not want to ever use them again or recommend them to family/friends.

I had such a great experience with my move that I decided to write a review. I don't usually write reviews (I read a lot of them!) but when I have a really great experience, I feel like it's important to share it with others. I know nothing about choosing a mover so I had to narrow down my choices based on reviews. Excalibur had really great reviews so I decided to give them a call. I'm so glad I did! They took care of absolutely everything for me and they were so careful with my family's belongings. Moving isn't fun no matter what, but it can be made better when you are working with people who care. These guys care! They work fast but are very conscientious to be very careful as they move your stuff. The move went so much faster than expected which was a plus! I also compared several different moving companies and found Excalibur to be the most reasonable. Some of the quotes I received from other movers were "open-ended" meaning that it gave me the impression that my costs could increase if they just decided that it was taking longer than expected or if I had more things than they first thought. The last thing you want is to think you are paying a certain amount only to find out that it's going to be much higher! Excalibur gave me a price and that is the price I paid. I had a wonderful experience with them so if you need a mover, you should definitely give them a call!

I used Excalibur for my move and it was a great experience! These guys are true professionals! They took such good care of my things and they work very fast too! They worked so hard and they knew how to get the job done right! I was really impressed by their work ethic and their expertise so I wasn't worried about a thing. I highly recommend this moving company and the owner Eli. He was honest, easy to work with and he gave me a very fair price for my move. If you need a mover, this is the one!!

This was my first time hiring movers and I had lots of questions and concerns. I spoke to Autum in the office and she was very patient and understanding. She answered all of my questions and there were plenty. This was for a move from Maryland to Richmond, VA. The movers were professional, courteous and efficient. They showed up on time and they moved quickly and efficiently. I was very impressed! The entire experience was amazing and I will definitely use this company again. The overall experience i had with exclaibur was pretty disappointing. i hired excalibur movers in aug 2021 for moving into my townhome from my apt. i hired the movers specifically as i had an expensive reclining bed. when the movers arrived, i specifically asked the movers if they need instructions to disassemble the reclining bed base, they said we will handle it. once we arrived at the townhome, the movers removed the storm door to help get the items inside the home. the movers could not move the reclining bed base upto the second floor as it wouldnt fit up the flight of stairs and they left the bed base in the main floor. they did not attempt to disaseemble the bed base and move tosecond floor and said they wouldnt be able to do it. they also left without reattaching the storm door. overall lot of work was left unfinished. they also damaged some of walls which was rectified. but i even contacted the manager and asked if they could help move the reclining bed to second floor and install the storm door but they never responded back.
